Non-editing in ALL Marketplace sub-categories?!

If this has been discussed before, my apologies, but there are A LOT of categories under the Marketplace category that do not need to be regulated with the no-edit restriction and, frankly, it's irritating to have to make (and read) new posts when a simple edit would do.

I understand the rationale behind freezing the "For Sale" categories from the possibility to edit, that is change the original, comments, etc, but can't this non-edit function be restricted to the "For Sale" categories? Thanks. Gary
