They are ok...they used to be crap but they have gotten better. Regardless they always have been student models. If your willing to go used and less glossy you can get much more for your money. Even a early 60's or better yet 50's Conn 16 M beats the daylights out of them...and you can probabably buy even a better sax...used are not that high but do your research first.

The Silver series plays with any tenor I've tried, which isn't many but I've played some good ones
