I've thought about doing this for quite some time now, but never knew how to do it. Keep in mind I'm 16.

Do you have to get a permit to play on the streets of downtown Seattle, or could I just find a place to set up and play?

Where could I find out? 8)

Thanks.

Blue Note.; As far as I know, no permit needed. Just find a good spot and blow. One of the best locales is at Westlake next to the Starbucks (get there early it's a popular spot).

Good luck and have fun!

Hey Blue--you're lucky...you're in the same city as the original Starbucks!!!

That's my "day" job...aside from being a college student. It's a great company.

You know, my private teacher was supposed to hook me up with a gig there several months ago with some local cats, but I think he forgot. I've heard great things about that Starbucks, too.

When you say "day" job, does that mean you gig there, or you work there?

I work there as a Barista making espresso beverages, making frappucinos and learning about/brewing coffee.
