Do you know where I can buy a cd or a dvd so I can read about the saxophone and many other instruments.

A few options...

You can always use an online encyclopedia such as:

www.wikipedia.org

If you're interested in the saxophone & it's history, I'd strongly recommend the book:

Celebrating the Saxophone written by SOTW's own, Paul Lindemeyer. Order a copy here:

http://www.lindemeyer.com/saxbook/saxbook.html

This book is filled w/ GREAT photographs as well - lots of fun!

There's also a few other books you might be interested in:
