Searching on multiple keywords?

You used to be able to search on martin AND tonehole but those searches will now return posts with martin OR tonehole. What broke and when?

I did a search on blast AND fooberdoo which should return zero posts (well one now), and it over 300 threads.

Searching on multiple keywords has been a computer performance issue thus far.
Now when on a dedicated server it is worth of revisiting this question.

I will research the pertinent facts again in August.

.........I switched from MySQL search to vBulletin's "native mode" search. AND and OR should work now.
