Any experience with this horn? I don't know a lot about Yamaha's. I gather that this is considered an intermediate horn. Is one in good shape worth $500.00? They seem to be on ebay for more than this in a"buy it now" situation. But you never know if they actaully bring those prices (unless you watch carefully).

Yes they are Yamaha's intermediate level saxophone. Im not sure but i think I heard that it is being replaced with the 475 series... Someone might want to clarify that for me. $500 and in good shape seems like a very good deal to me. New at WW & BW they are a little over 1200 (closeout price).

Yes 52 being replaced by 475. Same horn different neck reciever and engraveing. The neck reciever on all the new horns is very similar to the one on the 61s. I rest my case.
