Hi,
During the summer I have a lot of time to practice. But I just don't know what I should practice. I always find me improvising without practicing really something. The only thing I'm really workin' on are overtones (just begun doing it). Could anyone help me set up a good pratice routine (2 hours a day) and suggest any books, please ? I have the omnibook and some other transcriptions and some songbooks but I don't have any 'study' books (except 12 modern études for solo saxophone (James Rae)) or patterns (for jazz).
How should I practice transcribed solos ?
Any tips for tone and technique developement (in the practice routine) ?
Thanks
