View Full Version : Any others sound like Guardala mpc?

I sure like the sound of a Guardala tenor mpc, but not the price. What might sound similar? I've found this link with sound sample comparisons, but it's not very complete and I think it's Japanese? Anyone know of another?

Which Guardala are you looking at? There's really a big range on them...

Hey, thanks. I started searching about these Dukoffs. Looks like a lot of guys like them. The price on a new silverite isn't bad either.

Hey Mope, from what I've heard and experience, you might as well add the cost of a good reface to the cost a Dukoff before it will play like you want it. Talk to ez_sax about it....

Dukoff's can be fine out of the box - yes, some need some work, but not all. Try a Ponzol M 2 for a Guardala like sound as well.

Or try a Guardala from PMS-music.de. They are not exact copies of the old handmade, and they are not cheap. But they are cheaper than the handmade Guardalas out on eBay, and better than Dukoff.
