We bought yesterday a Buffet Crampon alto sax that was made in 1958. It is not a SuperDynaction (or at least is not stamped so).
It is made in France but has no model designation that I can find.
Any clues???
Ve don't need no steenkin' clues.
It depends a lot on the engraving, serial number and bell-to-body brace. IMHO, you probably have a Dynaction (see the Buffet topic and http://www.saxpics.com/buffet/dynaction.htm)
I've also noticed that most "SDA" baritones do not have "SuperDynaction" engraved on the bell. It's possible that the first few SDA's of ANY pitch don't have this engraving.
