What would be a good price on a yts-61 in good condition. Only a few scratches around the neck strap ring.

Also, what's a good price for a Yani T880 or a Yani A880. Both in great condition?

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean good price to sell for, or good price to buy for? These are not the same thing in my experience:)

Is this fully set up at a reputable dealer, or as a speculative punt on ebay? Also not the same thing.

It would be to buy them and not from a dealer.

From an individual, I would expect a T880 to be $900-1100; an A880 about $800-900. That's in nice condition.

Bob,
I bought a YTS-61 about a year ago for $1400. It had a few slight scratches but otherwise almost new in appearance. Also needed some adjustments since it hadn't been played in a while. I use an F1 neck on it.

YTS-61 in good condition direct from the original owner: $1100-1500
From a dealer with a return policy expect about: $1400-1700

Hey Bob, I thought you were on a 10M from Les. Are you thinking of making a switch?

I've been playing on an A880 latley (borrowing from a friend) and it's a terrific sax. It seemed very well made, much more solid feeling than the recent pro yamaha saxes I've played lately and the tone I could get on it was the richest I've ever gotten. I looked at them online and they seemed to be going for about $900-1000, and If I had the money right now I'd be more than happy to get one at that price.
