Right now I'm working on Chord. First is Major 7th (1-3-5-7) in each key all over my horn. Later on I will work on 3-5-7-1, then 5-7-3-1 ......etc.

However, sometime it can be boring when work on chord. Any idea to create/play it to get more melody feel? I wonder if any site have example about this.

If you want to make it more interesting, you could buy the Jamey Abersold Major and Minor key book and CD and practice over the tracks. That way you would also hear how the chord tones sound in relation to the chord. Or play the chord on a keyboard with sustain and hear how the notes sound when you play the on your horn.

How about practicing permutations of the chords like on 1357 do 3157 then 1537 and 1375. Get the Jerry Bergonzi book.
