My 67R is coming tomorrow!

After waiting two long and painful months the moment I have been waiting for is almost here! I tracked my sax on DHL and it says it should arrive tomorrow. I can't wait and I'll be sure to tell you guys all about it when I try it out tomorrow. I just felt as if I needed to tell someone :).

You're gonna love it! I'm gonna bet Tim did a great job setting it up and it'll play that low Bb to a whisper. I love mine! :D

This saxophone is simply AMAZING. Right when I opened up the case I spent five minutes staring at it and just admiring it. The finish is smooth, even and gives such a mysterious look to it. Let me just tell you that it looks MUCH better in person than in the pictures. The tonal qualities of this horn, in my opinion, is superb. The sound isn't quite as focused as other saxes but easily spreads and fills up a room. It has this lucious, warm velvet sound that I really love. Probably due to the rolled tone holes, the keys are absoulutely silent. What I also like about the sax is how easy it is to play in the low and high register. The Mauriat makes playing a triple piano Bb easy.

BTW, hats off to Tim at saxalley, he did a good job setting this baby up!
