I have no idea what to ask, I know I cant ask what I paid of course, but since these horns don't sell often and are not in high demand I have nothing to go buy. So, what do you think a used 67R should go for?

If you're wanting a Ref 54, you should try a PM System 76 alto if you have a dealer near you that stocks it. It has a lot of the desireable characteristics you find in the 67R... very free blowing, easy low end, etc., but more closely resembles a VI in tone. It won't sound the same as a VI, but more in that direction. It'll also be WAY cheaper than Ref 54...

i got mine a few months ago for 2k
shopped around quite a bit, so i know that's a good price
vintage lacquer, rolled tone holes, hand engraved, and the Super Jazz VI neck.
if you can find it cheaper than that, props to you!

This post is from last year, but I wonder ... did you ever sell your PM 67R? You didn't say in your original post what condition it was in. The condition of the horm would of course greatlly affect the selling price.

I just bought a like new, mint condition 67R. PM me if you wanna know the price I paid, lol.
