Oldgold asks, How to post thread?

I assume "posting a thread" simply means "Send a question". Is that right?
On the SOTO home page I find everything except a place to click on "Post a thread" or the equivalent. I know it must be simle but i can' find it.
I love and value SOTW and I know where to read other peoples problems but I don't know where to post my own except in "Private Message" which I don''t especially want.

You just did. All you do is go to the Sax on the Web Forum main page, click under the section you want, and click "New Thread."

You start a "New Thread" and you do it just like you posted your question here - navigate to the forum you want to post in and click on "New Thread".
