Is 6M a good choice for an adult beginner?

I've got a friend that I have been conviencing to take up the saxophone. He was born in 1947, collect vintage guitars (doesn't play) and we were looking at a naked lady 6m from that year as a possible sax for him to purchase and learn on. So I guess my question is, how appropriate would this model be for an adult beginner?

There's nothing wrong with learning on a nice horn.

Yeah - go for it. An excellent horn. Make sure it is let up well, no leaks.
