I've had great sucess with this fun but scholary Method. I would like to ask other sax teachers/players what they think this book takes the player up to regarding grades. I personally think this book by the final pieces and espaically tunes 63 onwards are about grade 5 standard. I know for a fact some of the earlier tunes in the book were in last years ABRSM syllabus but they now have a new jazz syllabus which looks like a lot of fun. Feed back appreciated in advance! Cheers Andrew. :D

For non-British viewers, music in the UK is graded in levels of difficulty.
Grades 1-3 Foundation
Grades 4-5 Intermediate
Grades 6-8 Advanced
Diploma (Post grade 8) Guru!

Just passing by and saw this... I use O'Neill's method - great ! Especially with the CD. I wouldn't rate any of the tunes much above 'foundation' / Grade 3 or 4. As a general indicator, Take 5 is considered Grade 4 or 5.
