Has anyone heard McCoy Tyner's "Impressions" with Michael Brecker? Is there any tune that you have heard by Brecker which more awesome than this 11 minutes audio masterpiece? :lol:

Saw Brecker in Cheltenham (UK) solo a couple weeks ago. He played a version of Trane's Naima (sp?) that went on for about 15 minutes. Mesmorising. I especially dug the fact that he was on his own- no piano or drums to distract your ears- just pure sax tone. :D

Brecker is totally incredible. Listen to #9 Outrance from "Time is off the Essence." Brecker is more incredible live when he is un-rehearsed. I have been listening to him for 23years and he is still my favorite! I'm a true "Brecker Freak!"
