he is right I only took the top four that are considered by many that selmer,yamaha,yangasawa and keilwerth are the top 4 brands.

ive also heard from people at prowinds use the term Mercedes Benz of saxophones. but in a different way when I asked him about the Reference 54 selmer saxophones he said it was the "Mercedes Benz of saxophones."

I agree. I wouldn't compare a Selmer to a French Renault either.
