I can't tell either, but I've been able to identify them by comparing with pictures at www.saxpics.com. The one thing that gave it away is the distance that the low B tonehole is from the bell seam. I think the Martin Handcraft tenor's tonehole is right next to the seam and the C-melody's is a couple of cm higher... or is it the other way around? Can't remember, but look at saxpics.

Yes, it is a C-Mel, or rather 'was' as it's sold.

Height is quoted as about 28* total (tenor is way more), my Martin C-Mel is about the same. Buyer beware, huh ?

Lack of aux 'Front-F' key is always a warning sign as well, I don't think any Martin C-Mels had those. Unless the camera is lying, it could also be a bare-brass like mine, bow certainly looks like it. Nice case tho........

Regards, Alan.

P.S. - spot on about the tonehole positiion Stencilman, another tip I'll remember, I've never noticed that - thanks.
