I recently picked up my tenor and experienced an ease of blowing that I never have gotten on my alto. While I realize that the alto requires a tighter embouchure, I'd like to match the two horns so the alto is a little more free blowing. I am currently using a Selmer C** on alto and a Berg Larsen 90 3M on tenor. What mouthpiece could I move to on alto to give me less resistance?

Try a Meyer or a Barone

JJ: Much depends on your playing environment (assuming your saxophone chops are experienced) - small rooms all acoustic with a need for warmth and spread tone, large rooms with a need for projection, open-air, etc.

Try Selmer Super Session and Soloists (mine are F-facing on alto), Morgans, and as recommended above, Meyer (my favorite is a 6S-Medium Chamber, followed by a 7M-Small Chamber). DAVE
