Hi Everyone...

As an intermediate tenor player, I have been asked to sit in on a few gigs for a local bar band. Problem is, I am "Crunching" out the stuff I need to play very rapidly, and now this song has been added to the sets.

I need to learn it quickly, the solo, and the melody parts. Does anyone have access to a transcribed chart of this tune.

Any help would be much appreciated. I wish I had time to crunch it out, but I am already a bit swamped with work, and the other tunes I need to learn.

Thanks in advance.

I am amazed no one has followed up on this one yet. I was messing around with this one the other day on an Alto the sax shopped loaned me (my tenor was in for repairs). I think I hit that main melody with a G#, F#, E, D, G#, F#, G#--- F#, E, D, C, F#--- F#, E, D, C, F#, E, F#---F#, E, G, B

I may even be off. I am really just starting to attempt to transcribe some songs- been working on "Dark Side of the Moon", which is a great one.

I guess this didn't help you in time DizzyMiles- seeing as you said you had to learn this one quick 3 weeks ago. Have you covered the song yet? There seems to be a longer version of this song with a longer solo by Grover- really cool.
