I've become very impressed with Steve Fowler's repair work and I'm happy to recommend him to others. He recently overhauled my 1966 Noblet Bb clarinet. He did such an outstanding job on it that I asked him to work on my Patricola C clarinet. Even though the Patricola is less than a year old he made some remarkable improvements to it. I'm entirely happy with both clarinets. Steve turned around my instruments in a short amount of time and his prices are quite reasonable. His website is http://www.fowlermusic.com .

I'll second the sentiment about Steve Fowler. He has an amazing eye for detail, was showing me some areas on a Mark VI body where some pings were imprinted from the inside outward (horn belongs to SOTW member SteveS, Fowler is stripping the lacquer and repadding for him) that were originally put there to get better intonation out of the instrumet. I've now had three horns tuned up by him and they are PERFECT after I get them back. And he is reasonable on price. Great touch on adjustments.

Good guy.
