just got 12M

Hello all just got a 12M sn360xxx. It came all set up in playing condition. very impressive player, even with the student plastic yamaha mpc. I am going to try and resist my G.A.S. while I pay for reeds, harness, stand and maybe a case. she is not the best looking horn ever but I think she will work well.
What do you all like for mouthpiece on these horns?
on tenor I have runyon custom 6 w/ V-16 2.5 or lavoz med. alto Barone NY6M RJS 3S or Runyon jazz 6 or JJ 8 w/RJS 2M.
Clarinet Morgan RM-28 vandy 2.

take a tunner with you when trying out mpcs. these conns tend to play sharp with modern mpcs.

by modern mpc do you mean high baffle? the yamaha 5c plays very well in tune. it is a smaller facing than I play on tenor thou

Conn's can be played with modern high baffle mpcs if they have a large chamber behind the baffle. Conn's like big chamber mpcs!

Try a lamberson 8DD or quantum.

So who has the best price on the Quantum? Spoiler or not? I have a JJ alto #8 spoiler but didnt really need/like the spoiler at first try and never had time to experiment further. Derlin or metal? like the price of derlin. I must try to control GAS have already got more money into bari than any 2 of my other horns.
