I was in a shop today looking for a tenor sax. They had none. For fun I saw this Grassi bari 2000 in an open case. Never seen one, so I played it. Here's the cool part. There's two necks the original and a Gloger-Handcraft that's....get this a C melody converted to fit the bari and IN TUNE!!! what a hoot. Don't those necks go for 6 to 800?

For those that are interested, Grassi seems to still be in some kind of operation, or moreso. Here is their web site.

They have a nice line of horns.
How much for your 2000?
