Firstly, if I am in the wrong discussion - please forgive me!!
I am working my way through the Berklee Practice Method Get Your Band Together book (alto sax).
In an effort to teach myslef a little bit about music theory, I am going through the Chords and trying to see how they are derived from the scale.
The F#7 chord is the first one that hasn't matched the book. The book (page 62) list the notes of the F#7 chord as F, A#, C, E.
I work the notes out to be F#, A#, C#, E.
As you can see, I'm pretty far off - where did I go wrong??
Thanks
