Ok, I'm totally confused about the JK alto's, which is the Pro, Intermediate etc. I have the EX90 and when I got it, the tag said it was the Pro model, and from what I think these forums are saying, it's the Intermediate. and I think I hear stuff about an SX and ST. I really would like to straighten this out so I can get my next JK sax soon.

ST is a student horn made in Taiwan. The quality is the same as other cheap asian brands such as Monique or Century, since they're all from the same factory, but with different brand names stamped on the bell.

The EX is an intermediate horn made in Germany. It has the same body tube as the SX model, however it doesn't have the pro features such as mother of pearl keys, adjustable palm keys, etc.

The SX is a pro horn. The SX90 has straight tone holes, while the SX90R has tone hole rings to simulate rolled tone holes. Both the SX90 and SX90R have adjustable palm keys, pearl key touches and (supposedly) non-stick G# mechanism.

Both SX and EX model has a bigger bell than other brands of saxophone of the same size.
