Does anyone out there know anything about these things?
I'm shortly to come into possession of a vintage (don't know the serial no yet, so can't date it precisely) silver-plate B&H Imperial 4 valve double Bb bass, which I'll be wanting to sell on. It was played in a wind band, but has lain untouched for a decade, though apparently remains playable and I'm not intending to do anything to it unless necessary.
I'll probably eBay it, but there don't seem to be many for me to compare with - any ideas on what I might expect to get for it? Is eBay my best bet, or might there be a dedicated site that I might get more response from? Also has anyone had experience sending such a large/heavy item by post; is there perhaps a recommended courier? Is there a company that will collect from my door? I'm in the UK, and probably not intending to ship worldwide; all advice welcome!
