Bergonzi on Trumpet

Heard thru the grapevine that Jerry Bergonzi is picking up trumpet. Considering he also plays bass, drums and piano very proficiantly I bet he turns out to be a good trumpeter.

He's been playing drums on gigs lead by the phenomenal saxophonist Pete Levesque. Pete is about the sickest saxophonist I've ever heard live ... he's playing around Worcester and metro west a bit, and man is it worth it to catch him if you can...

I'd be suprised to see Jerry get into trumpet at this point in his career, but
then,why not he could definitely do it.

His buddy Miles Donahue has surely been an inspiration over the years as
a player of both tenor and trumpet !8-)
