Anybody have any experience with the Ponzol M1 on bari? Any thoughts?

I love mine. It blew away my previous piece, a Yanagisawa metal 7. Very powerful, but it can whisper as well. It does have a significant baffle. I play an M2 (high baffle) piece on tenor and wanted to get something similar for bari. I talked to Peter, and he told me there is not enough demand for separate M1 and M2 models for bari, but that the M1 is a bit of a hybrid. I bought the .120 and went with a softer reed (2.5 vs.3/3.5) for better response in the bottom register. I use it for big band and rock'n'roll - probably not a good idea for classical!

I use mine for funk. Not a very good idea for anything other than marching band or music where you want to sound pretty
