Hello,
I have an early 62 tenor that has the original pads, some of which are ready for retirement. Does anyone know which pads I should use for repadding? The originals look like Selmer pads with brown plastic resonators. Which thickness should I use? I really can't afford to have someone do this for me and besides I enjoy working on my own saxes.
Has anyone used a different pad/resonator type on their YTS-62, and, if so, did it seem to change the sound.
