. . . purchased from Justin "Wood" Goff at World Wide Sax (Sarge's protege.)
I couldn't be happier! Justin's first-class rebuild makes her sound, play, look
and feel great. Just as sweet and easy to play as can be. Life is good!

P.S.: "rabbit" has been a nickname of mine for decades. My apologies to
the immortal Johnny Hodges. No disrespect intended.

Welcome to SOTW, Rabbit! :) Which sax?...Bari, tenor, alto, sop?

Anyhow, Congratulations on your purchase. :D

10M was a CONN tenor designation.

GAS Wyo,

Thanks for the welcome. I regret not specifying 'tenor' as a convenience to all. S.O.T.W. is swell and a great resource.

"10M Naked Lady" is a fairly common term in the mannequin industry. I'm glad that this ambiguity has been cleared up. I was beginning to wonder why this was being brought up in a saxophone forum. :clown:

Hello Pete,

My presence is depressing property values here in Santa Rosa.
Compliments on your playing, website and photogenic family.

Hi Rabbit,

Thanks... the pictures just came with the frames...

My wife's parents live in Santa Rosa... it's not so bad (at least not from the view here in Sacramento).

What setup are you going to use on your new toy?

Pete,

Regret the delayed response.

You're right, Santa Rose is quite nice, I'm delighted to be here.

Regarding my set-up: I'm going to try a Brillhart that Sarge has screened for me. I can't go wrong 'cause I've got expert guidance (I'm no sax-sophisticate), a good price and if if it isn't a good fit a return privilege.
I admit to a taste for baritone reeds. Probably my ignorance/laziness.

Since we're practically neighbors, feel free to "PM" me and we can arrange a more convenient mode of communication. Regards,

rabbit

ez sax,

My girlfriend is the mannequin (while she remains inflated) and the sax is a 'Naked Lady' so your confusion is understandable. Regards,
