(I'm not a player, which may be painfully obvious below . . . )
I came into possession of a soprano sax, inscribed Conn Pan American Special. Underneath it has the serial #95xxx. Mouthpiece is a Selmer Bundy.
It looks to be a . . . shall we say . . . "tinkerer's delight." The silver is tarnished, all pearls are missing from the keys, definitely needs new corks and pads. Two minor dents at the base of the bell.
Can anyone provide me with any more information about this sax? When it was made, what key it plays in, what the musical worth is if rehabbed?
