Conn New Wonder I vs. II C Melody

All things equal, is a New Wonder tenor series II (S/N 143xxx and up) considered a better sax than the series I (S/N 41xxx - 143xxx)? If in equally good condition and styling, would one be more valuable than the other. I've been looking at some straight neck Conns and about to take the plunge!

All of the later Conns tend to bring more money but I have never considered them to be that much better. I currently use a 123XXX Gold plated Alto as my main horn.

Just a follow up question, are all Conns New Wonder IIs considered the Chu Berry style?
