She sounds like she was a terrific woman. Sorry to hear of her passing, but I'm glad the Sentinel at least honored her with this obituary.

I met Sam Rivers in the 70s,and studied with him at his loft that was to become studio Rivbea.
I remember Bea making salmon salad sandwiches on raison bread (it was good!)for our lunch,a sweet lady,sorry to hear of her death.............
