T901 owners - Anyone having problems keeping your T901 in adjustment? Haven't heard of any T991 owners with any problems but have heard a few rumblings from some 901 owners.

I've had a T901 for a year, no problems. Yani does suggest it be adjusted every 6 months, so I guess I'll take it in soon. Maybe I've adjusted to some out-of-adjustment pads.

Could you please explain "Yani does suggest it be adjusted every 6 months". What adjustment need to do?
I have a A-901 for a year and play it everyday. It work very nice but I never adjust anything on it.

They suggest you take it to a tech to make sure kexs and pads are covering the tone holes properly, and that everything else is as it should be. My tenor felt fine after one year, but we compensate for small problems so I took it in. Sure enough, all the tech found was "a couple of very small things." All saxes lose adjustment, but a carefully handled Yani seems to have few problems--even the 901 series. By the way, the tech said it was a very good playing sax, much better than earlier model Yanis that had come into his shop. He was impressed, which is a nice tribute from a dyed-in-the wool Selmer fan.
