Hello,
I have a raw brass soprano in good shape (It plays) #78,6xx.

If I was to sell it, any ideas what would be a reasonable price?

I have a couple of Martin sopranos, one like yours (bare-brass). I'd say that there's a pretty wide range: $450 to $800. The top end would be for a horn that has been recently rebuilt and is in excellent condition. The low end would be for a horn that has dents to be removed, has had major solder work, badly worn action, needs new pads and corks, etc. Just my opinion based what I've seen.
