case suggestions for Aristocrat Tenor

I've got a 278xxx Tenor that's getting redone, and it will be ready soon. I have the original case, but it's a little on the flimsy side. I'd like to hear what you are using for these horns and what you think is the best vs good cost ratio..... I've got Bam tastes with an SKB budget, if you know what I mean.... :roll:

Hiscox case are the best fit for a Buescher sax.

Junkdude will have Hiscox cases any day now and at a very good price.
I just put $$down on one of his Aristo tenors and a Hiscox case.
He also says they are the best fit for Buescher and other vintage horns i.e. left bell keys, split bell keys.

How 'bout Allied wood-bodied cases? I've heard they're the sturdiest "traditional" case on the market.

I've got a '30's Aristocrat going to get overhauled this week, & I'm going to need a new case for it.

I had one of those and it was tough. But- it barely fit my SDA tenor, which has a short bow and RH bell keys and it was HEAVY.

I have used the Hiscox case with a Buescher tenor and alto for many years. These case hold up to the rigours of usage that I put it through. The Hiscox is the best option for a vintage Buescher.

Update: I opted for the Hiscox. Nice! Well made. I'm sure it will last longer than me....LOL Great fit for the Tenor too. I highly recommend them.

I got mine too and it's the perfect case except for one thing-it doesn't fit my Keilwerth. I can wedge it in there but it makes me nervous.

My 328k Aristocrat tenor is going in a Protec contured case once it is done with an overhaul. I have a 340k Aristocrat alto in one and it fits nicely.
