Anyone played Amati sops?

I test-played a new Amati(on closeout)with two necks from WW&BW about a month ago. Not a bad looking sax, but even though they are supposed to "shopcheck" the saxes before they go out it was obvious they had not. It had real stiff/clunky action. Couldn't really tell you how good it sounded, because it needed to be worked on first. Same story with a Grassi Prestige I tried from them. If they'd just checked it and made some adjustments, I'd probably have kept the Grassi.
