What is the average frequency spectrum produced by a tenor sax ? I need this information in order to buy the most adequate materials for soundproofing.

But remember those are not absolute numbers... harmonics (multiples of frequencies) can be generated that go well above and below those numbers.
The only way to reduce sound (you cannot really sound-proof) is MASS. You may want to check out a book like this:
