View Full Version : Yanagisawa Website?
I've gotten three e-mails in the past couple of weeks asking me to add a Yanagisawa page to my website, www.saxpics.com. I don't have time to do that at the moment and I don't really know all that much about Yani, but here's what I can do:
If some of you (or many of you) can send me pictures, information, or even a full outline for a Yanagisawa website at saxpics@x-mail.net. I don't mind turning it into HTML and then hosting it.
In other words, I want to do this "low impact" for me at the moment: someone else does the work, I do some grunt work and you get the credit.
What do ya think?

Only if I can copyright it and you pay me royalties

Why dont you just link to the actual Yanagisawa website inside of a frame for SOTW?

Dave, I think what people are asking for are pages with pictures of prior models of Yanagisawa horns, for reference. That's what www.saxpics.com is all about: history.

Ah sorry, I just glanced over the message and missed the part of it being for his site. My goof!
I shall smite thee in a fit of pique! Oh. Sorry. It's Monday. Arizona law prohibits smiting on Mondays.
Updating the quest: I've had a good deal of e-mail response in regard to this and I've received a (hopefully, he says) complete model list of all Yani horns from a Volker in Germany.
I'm still looking for more, especially pictures -- I want to crown the website with a low A soprano photo. Keep sending stuff my way!
Howdy! It's been awhile.
I just updated my website. I've got a bunch of Yani pictures and such there -- including the odd training models. I've also got a few interesting links. Check it out at www.saxpics.com
One of the gentlemen that post on this website sent me an e-mail saying that he's going to start his own Yani page. I'm letting him glom pics from my website for it. It's at http://oldyani.home.comcast.net/
