I would like to continue this small topic. Every 5th october I play a love song for my wife, and giving her the same amuont of roses as the years gone by. We are next time celebrating that we meet each other 24 years ago, and I always have a hard time finding the right love song. The best suggestion for next song is so far "Put your head on my shoulder" Any other suggestions are welcome..........

Regards to all

Good choice. I play it for my wife every now and then and she loves it! There are many keys to play it in, but the one I play in starts off with C2-C#2-Eb2-C2-Eb2-G2-F2.... :)

The best song to play for your wife? Whatever makes her the most "emotional" (if you get what I mean)... 8) :D

Why not write her a song?

Bo

Don't stop at one song. Whatever year aniversery it is work it around that. Or perhaps have the song written as history of last 12 months. What was special during those 12 besides just being together. Or, take all the songs you like and make it a medly. I hope you don't mind all my suggestions.

Lyle :)

Writing a song may be the best. An instrumental with an apt title goes a long way. Some 5+ years since I wrote it my poorly punned song "Rhapsody in You" remains my girlfriend's favorite song of mine. Several people besides my girlfriend also think it's my best work ... maybe it's just a good song (personally, I disagree that it's among my best work but I like the weird stuff).

Duh! Why don't I learn the melody on sax (written on synth with guitar and flute as a call and answer melody) ... and play it for her!

Thanks for the idea ... ;)
