Conn 12M Tenor

I have been given a Conn Tenor, Naked Lady, engraved distinctly as a 12M. My searching shows the 12M is a baritone model number, the tenor is a 10M. It dates from 1953 by the serial number. Did I miss something, is there a 12M tenor?
