I know some of you have done it and I'm trying to but it doesn't seem to work. I have an SB Audigy 2 Platinum sound card on my PC, the midi cables are going on the IN/OUT of the VL70-M to the sound card.

I'm using the VL70-M editing software to transfer my sounds, but seems like there is no connection. I have already set my devices, etc to "ALL" like the readme file suggested, but when I click on the sounds in the editor to play on my WX5, nothing comes out and when I SEND the sounds nothing seems to go through.

Can someone please help me? You can email me if you'd like, thanks ahead!

You can get a free editor. There is a direct link from Patchmans website.. but heres the website: http://www.leonclarke.demon.co.uk/vl_edit.html

Be sure that you are connected to the VL midi cable etc. for this to work. You can only load 6 files into the custom portion of th VL.

Yeah, I've been using that editor the whole time. I finally figured it to work. I was such an idiot and forgot that it was the OUTPUT settings that I was supposed to change and not the INPUT. Now everything is good. It's a shame that Yamaha only allowed 6 custom slots. That is way too little considering I bought both volumes from Patchman and almost all of them are very good.
