My nickel-silver tenor has arrived! It is so beautiful I was afraid to touch it. I got over that in .5 milliseconds. The tone is just tremendous. It's full, rich, huge, and resonates my arms. And I'm 6'5" and 275lbs. There is an awesome clarity without being bright, if that makes sense. I'm using an SR Tech fusion .108. Initially, I couldn't be more pleased. Of course, I have a 13 hr. day at work tomorrow so I won't really get into it until the weekend. I'll give you guys more details then. It's very solid and seems well built. The action is very responsive. The horn, top to bottom, is also very responsive. Easy blowing. It really is a great sax for any amount of money. Roger Greenberg is going to Taiwan to work on getting more saxes. Hey Morry, thanks for hooking me up with Alabama Music Center. That guy is one of a kind. There are not many genuine people like that in the world. I'm really happy with the transaction and setup. I'll keep you posted. Well, I'm wasting precious time, so ---

My pleasure. I'm glad everything worked out well. George is one of the few guys I know that is still in the business because he loves to be around music and musicians. His overhead is small, and he cuts margins so thin that he barely makes ends meet. Best of all, he's proved to be a good friend over the years.

Well, I've spent a little time with it and here's my objective opinion. WOW, what a tone! This thing sounds better than anything I've owned. That includes an SX90R, Selmer MarkVII, Yamaha 62, and several lesser brands. I don't know if it's the nickel-silver or what but it's really full and clear. It responds really quickly. To be honest, I think Selmer is tops when it comes to overall quality, but the tone on this PM is head and shoulders above anything. I have always had an ultimate tenor sound in my mind and this is it. That is saying something. This thing just resonates. I can feel it in my head and hands. You guys were right. I love it! Daktion, you're in for a treat, bro.

my sax arrived at Junkdude yesterday and he's giving it a look over now. It'll be shipped on Monday so hopefully it'll be here at the end of the week. Apparently the bell is much larger than the 67... or in your case I would think the 66R's bell is much larger than the 66.

You guys were right. I love it! Daktion, you're in for a treat, bro.

Now you've done it. How can I survive a week of torment and wait? :D
