Hi

I've been looking for a new sax for the last month. I've tested most modern models from the yamaha, selmer, and yani range. I really really like the antique finish from the ref 54 (and it plays pretty well) but the the $$ wh0w ...... anyways, after testing and comparing the prices I was initially thinking of getting a 82ZS but after going through the threads here, did some of my own searching I really want to give the P saxes a try.

So does anyone know if there is a store that carries them around Toronto? Also, if not maybe a place close to the border?

Thanks

ps I'm really loving the look of the 67R ... cant wait to try it

I emailed around June Monteverdemusic and they promptly replied me that they have no resellers in Canada. Also in the US they are available in very few music stores.

Their saxophones might be killers, but their distribution sucks like few...

You might just have to take a chance with an online purchase. I think Tim at SaxAlley (www.saxalley.com) will sell to you with a 1 week return option (you pay the freight). For sight-unseen purchase I'd recommend Tim. Straight shooter and a talented technician.

OTOH a vacation to Colorado would be fun. SaxAlley is just north of Denver.
