Nickel-silver Tenor F# [Archive] - Sax on the Web Forum

Does anyone think there's a noticeable difference in sound between the nickel-silver tenor with or without the high F# key? I'm so close to pulling the trigger on this sax. Also, has anyone played these nickel-silver horns?

I'm planning to try one on Friday. I'm heading to SaxAlley w/ my recording deck, mic, all my MPC's and Ref54 for some serious A/B work. If you can keep the itchy trigger finger under control for a few days I'll have a little feedback.

Well, how did it go? Did you by any chance get to try out the altos?
