I just saw a near mint lacquer Superba I alto go for a "buy it now" price of $1,600 on ebay. I am looking to buy a black and gold lacquer Superba I alto that is also near mint. I have not seen many of these. In fact, a friend of mine has a black and gold tenor and I remember seeing Grover Washington Jr.'s baritone. Are they somewhat rare? How much more should I expect to pay for a black lacquer model? Thanks.
