Hi Sax-maniacs

Quick question: does anyone know where I could find out the real names of the tunes in the Jerry Bergonzi Books Vols. 1 to 3? Some of them are obvious but others are not.

I think it's easier to say that I'm puzzled on all of them. I have vol.s 1,2 and 3 and I only know a few such as "fall foliage" = autumn leaves and "lady duck" = lady bird. One of my teachers helped me out with vol 3 so that one's okay, but vol.s 1 and 2, I have no idea and I'm not with the same teacher any more.

As I said before, some are obvious but some are not. I'm looking for a complete list of all the real names of the tunes so that I can write them in against the fake names. It's irritating not knowing what tune you're working on.

If you know any of these, I'd be very grateful to you if you could help out.

While we're in this topic:

I started a thread a couple of months ago but nobody responded. I accidently broke my Vol. 3 CD a while back. It was in plastic sleeve in the book and the book was in my bag. I guess the book bent at some point and the CD broke.

If anyone can rip the tracks into MP3's and host 'em on the net I'd appreciate it.

OR

If anyone can copy the CD and mail it I'll slip you a few bucks to cover the expenses

Agent27, why don't you just call the publisher and send back the broken CD. I think they'd not have a problem replacing the CD. It's not like you're stealing anything from them and it's not like the cost of getting you a replacement CD is going to break them.

I got it through Gonz's site which goes through the Music Connection. I asked if I could buy a CD but not the book. They said yes but they'd have to get back to me. They never did and never returned any of my subsequent e-mails or calls. I ended up giving up. I guess I could try again or go through Advance Music.

If I had vol3 I would burn you a copy. I only have 1,2, and 4. The publisher (ADVANCE) might help. Let us know how you make out.

Yeah, I have 1, 3 (book at least), and 6. 1 & 6 CD's are on my hard drive and iPod if something happens to the discs.
