I have a Conn "Shooting Star" Alto. I purchased it from a friend. The sreial number is K07594. Can anyone tell me the age and approximate value. The Finish has several work places in it about 85% good. Plays great, no air leaks. The bottom of the bow is bent a little, not much and that's the only dents in it. Case is in good shape too. The Horn is all original, however he said the pads were replaced a while back, maybe five or six years. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Probably produced around 1966 or 1967. They're pretty common horns - basically a student model.
