Does anyone got Selmer AS500 Alto Saxophone? Is it a good saxophone as I cannot find any information about this model via Selmer website. But I found some AS500 are selling at eBay. Many thanks.

This may be one of the newer models that they import from Asia.

I also found a saxophone named Prelude AS700 in eBay.co.uk. It said that the saxophone is designed and made by Selmer USA & Conn-Selmer. Anyone knows about that?
So, the quality of that Prelude AS700 same as Selmer AS500 or else?
Thanks!

The AS700 is made in China...supposedly in a Selmer-owned facility, which is how they can say what they do and get away with it. They don't actually claim that it is made in the USA.

I really don't want to be unkind, but I'm not so sure about these comments. I'm not saying that to embarrass sax to the max, but to keep you from making a mistake, hellas. This sax might be decent and in your price range, although I think the consensus on the Forum is that there are better alternatives, but I would take these particular comments lightly, because:
- All saxes have a high f key.
- Selmer is one of the best brands, not "the" best.
- This sax might have the Selmer name on it, but it is still a more inexpensive model and is not made by the Paris Selmer craftsmen. You should not confuse this sax with the Paris Selmers.

All modern saxes do.
Oh really? I will have to check a Bundy II next time I see one and verify....
EDIT: Maybe assuming will be my downfall...

It's a high F# key. And any alto made after 1998 does indeed have one.
